Add and Install Theme Through FTP Client
- Unzip wordpress-theme.1.0.0.zip to your desktop.
- Use an FTP client like FileZilla to connect to your web server.
Navigate to /wp-content/themes/ on your server and upload the unzipped theme folder.
- Log into the WordPress Dashboard with your login details.
- Select the Appearance panel, then Themes.
- You will see the theme in the list. Click the Activate button.
- The theme will now be activated. Follow the on-screen instructions to set up the theme step by step.
Can you install a template on my localhost?
Sorry, that is not possible. We will be able to install a template only on a live server that matches the template requirements.
Can you install a WordPress theme on my existing site without losing my content?
Yes, but this installation service typically involves a ‘clean’ setup of the theme on a freshly installed WordPress along with sample data import. If you need the theme installed while preserving your existing content, we can do that as well, but you must inform us before starting the project.
